Who ZKTeco are
ZKTeco is based in Shenzhen, China, and has built its business on biometric identification since the late 1990s, when it released its own fingerprint algorithm. The range covers fingerprint, face, finger vein and iris recognition, and it runs through time attendance terminals, door access control, turnstiles and speed gates, smart locks and the software that ties them together.

Access control gets bought for security. Time attendance gets bought because payroll is guesswork. A terminal on the wall that records who arrived and when turns a hand written book into an export, and it settles the arguments that a book never does.
